No personal or identifying information will ever be displayed on BabysittersPlus.com.  Until finalizing arrangements for a specific job, we recommend caregivers and parents/employers not divulge such information either.

We urge Sitters to take the following steps:

  • Meet new prospective employers in a neutral location and/or with another person accompanying you (preferably a parent)
  • Read any reviews posted on BabysittersPlus.com for the parent or prospective employer before agreeing to meet.  (We cannot, however, guarantee the accuracy or objectivity of information and opinions posted on BabysittersPlus.com.)
  • Provide only email and/or cell information and only when finalizing job arrangements.
  • Report any suspicious, inappropriate, or questionable activity you encounter to BabysittersPlus.com immediately.

We urge Parents/Employers to take the following steps:

  • Meet prospective caregiver in a neutral location and ask to met the parents of any caregiver under 18 years of age to reassure yourself about the caregiver and reassure the caregiver’s parents about you.
  • Get references in addition to posted reviews.
  • Re ad any reviews posted on BabysittersPlus.com for the parent or prospective employer before agreeing to meet.  (We cannot, however, guarantee the accuracy or objectivity of information and opinions posted on BabysittersPlus.com.)
  • Report any suspicious, inappropriate, or questionable activity you encounter to BabysittersPlus.com immediately.
